Elementary Teaching

From Stage 5. Early adulthood – The Soul Apprentice at the Wellspring and Livelihood

When I lost my job as Chief Administrator at ZCLA on August 5, 1997 I knew I had to do something practical, fast. I heard that elementary teachers were being hired with an Emergency Credential, because of the new law capping class size at 20. This would be the shortest path to a new career. As soon as I decided to do it there was a sense of liberation and of grounding, of things falling into place.
