My notes on his reviewing the 2 practices

1. Dissolve into light external issues. Then everything in your body. Then bring the light from both all to a tigle at your forehead. Then that light shifts to vast boundless space. That is the Clear. Your awareness of it is light. Together they are clear light.

2. Exhaling Hung, radiant clear light. Breathing out light. Like in taking and sending, As in Tonglen.

4. Meditating on Clear Light While Asleep: Q&A—Apr. 20, 2017, 44 min.

5. Daytime Practices to Prepare for the Night—Apr. 25, 2017, 59 min.

Guided meditation begins at 48:40

[Long after I made the notes below, I found his description of the Four Foundational Practices of Dream and Sleep In his book Tibetan Yogas of Dream and Sleep. The four practices form a cycle. 1 and 2 during the day, 3 just before sleep, and 4 is in the morning when you wake up. (Video at about 42:30),

1. 14:38. Changing your karmic traces. Perceiving sense perceptions as they are. Changing sense of self influences sense perception. Dwelling in negativity affects sleep. Notice and change. Recognizing your pain body experiences gives you the power to change.

2. 19:35. Interacting.

3. 29:45 Before you go to sleep. One last thought. One last emotion. Setting intention.

31:50 An aside on cause of insomnia: Your conceptual mind is too active. Your energy is too active. There is not enough restfulness. There is not enough connectedness. There is not enough silence. Not enough stillness. Not enough restful, joyful experience, like a child in the loving arms of mother. There is not enough of that. That’s why you don’t sleep

3. Setting intention continued. I transcribed a little bit starting at 39:00

Right now, collectively, let’s all of us say a few words of prayer.
May we all remember preparation for sleep yoga throughout the day. (1) May I remember every time what I see, perceiving things, what I’m perceiving.
(2) May I remember when I react to something very strong.
(3) May I remember before I go to sleep, able to process leftover thoughts, say good bye and look forward, entering into the sacred sleep, like entering into the sacred temple. (4) [Setting intention in the morning|]
May I have lucid dream.
May I have sleep of clear light.
 May I sleep well.
May we all sleep well, may you all sleep well.
May you all have clear light sleep, lucid dream.
May you all feel that you have a choice, that you have an option. That you have power to choose, power to change.

then you sleep.

4 is next morning when you wake up. Remember to strengthen your motivation.
